This is a why choose omegaverse standalone romance which pairs a bachelorette type of lottery to pick mates along with a murder mystery. It does not involve shifting but does have some of the elements of shifter romances we all go feral for such as knotting, scent instincts, females going into heat, pack hierarchy (alphas, betas and omegas), submissive but strong females, growly, protective alphas, and fiercely loyal betas. Although the characters seem human for the most part, this series is set in a make-belief world where different social rules apply than the ones we live in.

Heat Paradise Series
After finding out I’m the only omega to emerge in this season's ceremony, I’m whisked away to a hidden resort nestled in the mountains.
What might sound like a nice vacation is anything but. I’m here with twenty hand-selected alphas who are competing for a spot in my pack on live television.
The downside? The public chooses who stays and who goes.
Even worse? Someone is murdered.
Everyone is suspect, aside from the dashing doctor, and the rugged twin contestants who are with me when I find the body.
Can we solve this mystery before the killer strikes again? And more importantly, can I do it without falling for the men I may not be able to keep?
